Austin has been making his rounds releasing a steady stream of alternative R&B singles, but he decided to shake things up a bit in 2020. He wanted to experiment more with pop music so when he was making “Even Though It Kills Me” he blended the atmosphere of R&B and hip-hop that he loved, with the melody and consistency of pop music that he admired. This record finds itself in the middle of pop, R&B, and alternative music with dark undertones, bright production and precise melody. Austin has plans to release an EP in Spring that will continue his journey into the alternative pop atmosphere without abandoning his R&B roots.
